John is the Owner and President of J. M. Mechanical, Inc.
John has been the backbone of J. M. Mechanical since it's beginning in 1977.John is an ASE Certified Master Automobile Tech, Master Machinist, Under Car Specialist,Service Consultant and Parts Specialist. 
John has been married to his wife Marsha for over 40 years,they have three children together (two sons and one daughter). When John isn't performing the duties of being our fearless leader...he enjoys spending time being a grandpa to his two grandsons. John also loves to hunt,fish, read and work on cars!!

J. M. Mechanical, Inc. has been serving the Canby area since 1977.  The business started as a one man shop out of John's garage on the farm.  People always ask what the "JM" stands for and it's simple, when John decided to start the business he needed a name so he used his initial and his wife Marsha's initial, thus getting "JM" and then he added "mechanical" to indicate that he did the mechanical repair on automobiles. In 1986 John moved the business to its present location on 99E.  We now have an eleven bay shop with two ASE Certified Technicians and three office staff.  John has always believed  in one tried and true motto for J. M. Mechanical, Inc.  That being, "Old fashioned service, the latest technology."  Simply put, we believe in courtesy, honesty, quality and customer satisfaction is our top priority.  We use the latest in diagnostic equipment which allows us to work on all makes and models.  We can service and repair everything from Acura to Volkswagon and everything in between to include diesel cars and trucks as well.  Don't forget we'll work on your RV too!  We are proud to be a member of the Oregon DEQ RARS (Recognized Automotive Repair Shops) program, Automotive Service Excellence, Automotive Service Association and the Northwest Automotive Trades Association.
