Jerry joined the J. M. Mechanical family in November of 2003. He came to us from CarQuest of Oregon City where he was an outside sales representative for their company. Jerry has a very widespead background with a total of 37 years in the automotive industry. He is an ASE Certified Service Consultant and Parts Specialist. When not giving all of our customers estimates and advice on their vehicles he enjoys traveling in his RV, attending collector car events and dog shows (especially miniature schnauzers).
Shannon joined the family in October of 2002. She came to us via Washington state where she was a hotel manager for Best Western. She was happy to return to her home state of Oregon. She lives in Salem where she grew up and attended South Salem High School. Shannon is responsible for the smooth operation of the office and all the paperwork that is generated thru the day to day operations. She is also an ASE Certified Parts Specialist. In her free time she enjoys home improvement projects, woodworking, and watching various sporting events (especially softball).
Jeff is the senior technician having been with J. M. Mechanical longer than any other technician on staff. He has been a member of the family since November of 2001. Jeff has 25 years of automotive experience thru hands on repair. He holds various ASE Certifications including Brakes, Suspension & Steering, Heating & Air conditioning, Engine Repair, Electrical, Manual Drive Train and Axles and Exhaust System Specialist. Jeff has three children (two daughters and one son). In his free time he enjoys camping and hiking.
Jay has been a part of the J. M. Mechanical family since November of 2002. Jay has accumulated 16 years of professional experience (22 years overall) in the automotive industry. He is our lead technician and is an ASE Certified Master Automobile Tech, Automobile Advanced Engine Performance Specialist, Master Truck Tech, Electronic Diesel Engine Diagnosis Specialist and Undercar Specialist. He is married to his wife Heather and they have two sons. New baby Elliot came to them in March 2007. Jay is heavily involved with his son Tyler's Boy Scout Troop serving as the Scout Master and coordinates all of their outings and activities. Jay enjoys anything to do with cars/trucks and he likes to play golf.
Bud has been with us since August of 2004. Many of our customers were already familiar with Bud and his credentials as he has been a technican in the local community for many years. He comes to us with 19 years of automotive experience and he is ASE Certified as a Master Automobile Tech and Automobile Advanced Engine Performance Specialist. He is married to his wife Sheryl and they have two children together (one daughter and one son). Bud enjoys coaching and playing softball, fishing and water skiing.
